i got my nose pierced about 2 and a half years ago. i had been wanting it for awhile and i just went and did it. it was kind of uncomfortable because they stuck a cork up my nose when they pierced it. but i have had a small stud in it and i love it. i recently changed to a flower stud with a pink jewel in the middle. it is very discrete and not many people notice it because it is a stud. now if i had a huge ring in it then it would be different. but if u have a small stud then i think personally that they look very sexy on woman... (yes i am a girl) but u know what i mean. i think that they r very femine if they r small. i am also a mom with a 6 year old boy. i am not the typical "soccer mom" by any means. i have 6 tattoos and my nose pierced. but u know what? i dont look any different then half of the parents in the stands.... so if u r thinking about getting one then i say more power to u!!!!

The pros and cons are more of a personal thing. If you have had a bad experience then your argument will probably have more cons but if nothing went wrong you will probably have more pros. I had a bad experience with this one piercing and great experiences with all of my others.
Pros: It's discrete, common but the shape of your nose makes it unique in positioning, so many fun little studs you can use, relatively fast healing time on average.
Cons: SOME experience breathing difficulties, infections, needing removal. Also scars are possible as with any piercing, wash clothes, sweaters, towels can catch the gem if the is angled just right.
It really depends on your experience. Pain depends on you, price on the shop, and the look of how it turns out varies upon you as well. I am getting mine redone, I liked it but the stem was too short and it sank in after the swelling went down. My worst experience with a piercing to date but it wont stop me from getting it again.

Well, I have had mine pierced 3 different times so I will tell ya my pros and cons that I have had.
the first time I pierced it myself and it was fine with the exception that I was 14 and only was able to use earrings.
the second time was horrible. the girl that did it was drunk. she pierced it with too big of a needle then put too small of a screw in it so it went all the way through my hole. in the end it was so infected that I had to let it close. so nothing good came from this time.
this past time was a decent experience. it looks great. I love it. I did get a small infection but it was due to improper cleaning. It blistered around the ring but once I started cleaning it like in the beginning it was fine.
I think the biggest con is if you don't clean it properly it can get infected but there are always ways to take care of it.

None of either lol
If you want it and you like it that is all that matters because their will always be someone that has something negative to say.
Just make sure you get it done by a pro and get a nose screw or ring not a nose bone :)

Well i have my nose periced. It dosent rly hurt. it just brings one tear drop and thats it. But the rings are so small u need to keep then in a special place. But U also need to keep it extra clean so u dont get bactieria and infection which could be fatal. I think it will make u look very cute if u can pull it off. also i would suggest not gettin a big ring get like a small diomond are something along those lines

Well, I don't think there are any actual pros...and for the cons, obviously it can get infected. I have had mine pierced for almost three years now, I wear a stud in it NOT a ring. The only problem with mine is that it took me a few months to find a stud that would not fall out when I was sleeping. I clean it daily and have never had it get infected.

pros: it's a very cute piercing, now it's getting more mainsteam so you are less likley to be judged because of it, if you take it out the hole is not really noticable becuase it's in the shadow of your nose, jewlrey is only $1.99 for it, it doesn't hurt too bad at all.
cons: it's a pain to get the nose rings in and out if you have fake nails, it's getting really common, if you ever want to get in a fight it may hurt more if you get punched in the nose with your nose ring in :)

I personally LOVE having my nose pierced ... but there are lots of down sides to it ... if your not careful you can scratch the inside of your nose and end up having scabs but you need to find a good nose stud for that. Dont get one too big .... and when you have a cold its really hard to blow your nose ... i usually take it out and blow my nose ... but none of that happends too often.

Cons are similar to any piercing: infection, social lashing from haters and ignorant fools, scarring, discomfort while healing.
Pros are that you'll have a very cute/kickass piercing and that you'll be happy that you lived a little in your life.
Just go to a reputable piercer and be sure to take care of your piercing while it heals and you should be perfectly fine.

I don't have a nose piercing right now but i did really want one, my aunt had a fit because her wedding is coming up and so i didn't get to get it. Neways i wanted to say that if it is something that you want then go for it, don't listen to the narrow minded if they don't like it well they obviously won't ever get one so don't listen to them anyways. Its like if you had said you wanted to dye your hair purple somebody would have said something negative to say about that as well. You will always have somebody saying something rude no matter what you ask. Good luck=)
