What Is The Best Blender On The Market?

Question

Everyday I use a blender to make protein shakes (ice, frozen fruit and mix). The problem I incur is that I must stop the blender every few seconds and push the top unblended portion down towards the blade. Is there any blender--that even if full--can blend all contents without assistance?

Blendtec is good, its the kind they use at baskin robbins. They're terribly expensive though (they run for roughly $200 on ebay).
