You should have 2 or 3 bowel movements a day. If this is not the case then you should try taking fiber ( Metamucil) on a daily bases. I would start out with a small dose and increase until you are having normal bowel movements daily.

There's a thing aplty and slangfully named the Fruit Diet. Quick and easy way to lose a surprising amount of useless weight.. being it cleans out your system and rids yourself of years of buildup of "poo". Take a few days, all that's needed, and eat nothing but fruit (aside from citrus) and you'll be good to go. You'll be able to have a decent bowel movement on a regular basis and, let's face it, you'll lose about seven pounds.
Or drink prune juice; you'll be peeing out your behind

You may have some kind of IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome). If you notice any blood and have high fevers, you may want to visit a doctor and get tested; otherwise, you may be able to relieve your symptoms with Imodium, Beno or some other kind of anti-gas over the counter medication.
