It's pretty self explainitory, but I watched the Real World recently, and Tyree got arrested for it. Thank God I have never gotten arrested for the countless times I have done it, but my friends have recieved citations for it, but never taken into custody. I thought it was just a fine, and not jail time.
Is it different for all places? i.e. is it a local law that is different from city to city?

Yep, in Denver it's called public indecency. 2 days in jail.

Vary from state to state and even city to city, it is indecent exposure and can be considered a sex crime. ( in some states people convicted of this will be put on the sex offender registery. So yes it is very serious in some areas.

It all depends on all the circumstances it occurs with. If you are seen by a woman than indecent exposure could be attached to the event. But think before you act it could get pretty nasty...finally to you.

Urinating in public is an offense against hygiene and it is a valid ground for being arrested.

yes but when you gotta go you gotta go. My husband drives a truck for a living and sometimes there isn't anywhere to stop to go especially when he's had diarrhea so one time he pulled over and hung his butt over the guardrail and went a cop pulled up my husband told him not to come too close because he is really sick, the cop smelt it told him to hurry up and then the cop left him to finish his business.

it is different from place to place, just check out weird laws on a search, some funny laws out there. i say, if my dog can do it, im doing it. im not dropping no deuce without tp though.
