it's not miles-it's calories. YOu have to burn 3500 calories to lose one pound

One affects the other, but they are not directly related. It's like asking how many gallons of gas it takes to build a house.

I take in about 4,000 calories a day to maintain my weight, so if I kept the same level of training I could lose over 1 pound a day, except I would be hating life!

You don't lose weight when you ride, you lose it by raising your metabolism by riding. And if you stop eating McDonald's, Taco Bell and other crap altogether the weight will come off much faster.

Depends on your metabolism and fast you are riding - you need to think in calories burnt rather than distance

It depends on speed, distance and your weight, but you would loose a lot of water by sweating, not necessarily body fat, it's a long term process and you should be patient.
