Oh yes, it certainly can. My sister bought a house which had a remodeled bathroom off her master bedroom. They found out many months later that the entire wall behind the tiles in the shower was covered with mold. She had a history of migraines, but they got much worse before they found the problem. She ended up quitting her job because she was embarrassed about not putting in her share of the work because of the headaches. Her young son developed asthma.
I had migraines which were under control, but she had me over one day to do some work on the computer she kept in her master suite. I was there a little over an hour and had a headache so bad that I left because I was afraid if I waited any longer I would not be able to drive myself home. I was not even six blocks away from her house and my headache was clearing up.
I talked to her about this and her husband checked out everything he could think of. It wasn't until much later, when he went to redo the tile in the bathroom that he found all the mold.
Get rid of that mold and you will feel much better.

It most certainly can. It's unhealthy in other respects too. Management needs to have this problem corrected. Under OSHA regulations, they can be fined big bucks and even forced to cease operations until it's corrected, because that mold situation endangers the health of all who enter the building. Speak to your company's employee health services director. If the problem is not corrected within a reasonable amount of time, contact your county office of public health. Be sure you have a physician document your medical problems first - so if you have not seen a doctor about those headaches, that's your first step.

No you can't and plus it's not safe or healthy.
You have to get rid of it. Especially if it's very noticable.
If not, put on a mask and some gloves and clean it with a cleanser that has bleach in it and then put a dehumidifier down there to keep the moisture from building up.

Allergies or not, the mold is making you sick. Tell your employer. And if the employer refuses to do anything about it, involve various other health and safety people.
Good luck!
