I have a Mitsubishi WT-46807 TV that my brother left me to deal with. The way it broke was that my nephew was just pushing the power button on the TV, on and off non-stop until finally it just showed no picture at all and just turned off.

The power light would just go on for about 2-3 seconds and then go off, and I'm wondering if its something i could fix, and how much it would cost.

Thanks

Probably no way you can fix it yourself - have you every taken a modern TV apart? These things are built to be DISPOSABLE.

Anyway, make the brat nephew pay for the fix and that will teach the bugger and solve your problem.

I know this probably sounds kinda crazy, but I had a Television once and the power button would get stuck in on it sometimes. Why don't you check and see if the power button is stuck in. lol. Your nephew probably blew the vaccum tube....

well.. the best way you and your family do is to repair it. and once it is already ok, your little brother must stop doing the same before your tv damge. ^^

ok? dont too worry, that tv still have a chance to be useful.

good luck and have a nice day! ^^
