Does anyone know what materials/how to make one of those big scrolling LED signs?

I would like to know what materials are needed and how to make one of those scrolling LED signs. the only one I have seen is $385 or something and a homemade one would be cheaper. Also, online guides would be nice if you have them, just type the url. Thanks in advance!

after the money spent in buying the parts, etching the circuit board, testing the circuit, the casing, the programming, it's cheaper & faster to buy one, if you or your friends are travelling to asia, asked them to buy for you, its cheaper over here.
