Nooooo absolutely not. Laundr detergent contains a weakened form of bleach, which is a strong base. If that was in our shampoo, we'd all have grey hair. Bleach removes color. Shampoo has some very weak bases in it, the same kind as in soap, except that the one's in shampoo have added moisturizers. If you have to in an emergency, you can use shampoo to wash clothes. They won't be very clean, but w.e. if its an emergency. But NEVER wash hair with laundr detergent.

NO. You can use shampoo to wash your clothes in an emergency, but I wouldn't suggest the other way around.
