Okay, so I'm going to dye my hair, but I'm not sure exactly how I want to do it. I'm going to be doing it myself, and I don't mind if it turns out a little sloppy.

Right now, my hair is redish darkish auburn, and I'm going to be putting some black into it. I'm just not sure where I should apply the black.

Anyone have any suggestions of where I should apply the black?

First of all, I would suggest coloring your hair, somewere in the realm of your natural color....
I have seen girls make the portion of the hair closest to the neck the darkest, and I think this looks very nice...maintaining classiness with a bit of an edge.
Perhaps you would apply the black there? With the auburn, this will look really nice, I think!
Good luck!

I think some black stripes might look cool. Or maybe the underside black would be very skaterish. Good luck, be creative!
