I own a 2005 jeep wangler Rubicon burnt orange v6 6 speed
factory front and rear lockers hard top soft top option and bikini top half doors
have not lifted it yet but it is the most off road capable stock 4x4 vehicle I have ever owned that is the reason I bought it all I have to do is throw a lift and bigger tires and I have a great jeep
I know half the fun of off roading is wrenching and building your rig but I am getting to old for that stuff so I love my Rubicon
and will not have to be spending to much down time modifying it to be where I want to be

My favorite Jeep is exactly what comes to mind when you think of a jeep. It's that old cj-7 complete with its rounded fenders and unique hood and grill. It is red with long since faded decals that say Laredo, or golden eagle or whatever. The paint is so faded it looks like dull coat, the tires are dry rotted and there's a spot of oil on the front diff identifying her as an old American Motors Corporation jeep. The heavy 304 resides beneath the rugged exterior sending v-8 power through old American steel to the earth. Some maintenance is required with this piece of American idealism but that's all part of the dream. The stars and stripes fly from her roll bar as this relic returns to glory conquering hills and mud, even wading the flood. Everyone looks as she sits in traffic puffing tired breaths into the ears of those who will never understand her heroic past.

I prefer the Jeep SJ's. You know the full size Jeep trucks, Wagoneer and Cherokee. I own several different ones. My favorite is still my first, 1981 SJ Wagoneer Custom, Copper Brown Metallic, still has original paint. Wife has been on me to repaint it. But I will not. I also have the following. 1966 Super Wagoneer(needs work), 1973 J2000 truck, 1973 Cherokee Chief, 1977 Cherokee Chief, 1990 Grand Wagoneer. And yes I do have a CJ-7 from 1979. But I love the SJ's more, why? Because they are big and are so much fun to go off road in.

I've got a '78 CJ7 upfit with a 360 V8. Factory paint was orange, and I repainted it Midnight Blue with Khaki trim. Even with 36" tires it's unbelievably fast and powerful.

Now that's a jeep.

Jeep Wrangler. Electric Lime Green. I like this model because it reminds me of an antique car. It is a beautiful vehicle especially in electric lime green. My dream car is an electric lime green JK but they only came in that color back in 2004.

A black Commander.

I like it mainly because of the way it looks. They did a good job at making it look like the older Jeeps while still keeping it modern. Also the bolts they use on the limited version look awsome.

I like the last generation Jeep grand Cherokee in Silver. It was a confortable car to drive and be in and the design was nice and practical.

TJ Rubicon, burnt Gold. It is the best one built. I loved my CJ5 and YJ, but the Rubi is just so much more capable. I hate the JK (JoKe). The only thing I like about the JK is the swaybar disconnect. My Rubi is pretty much the last of the Jeeps in my mind.
