Ask him what's the matter. Do let him know you're not GOD or Jesus or a Member of the Heavenly Realm, so you can't judge. You just wanna know what's the matter. Noone stops eating for NO reason. When you find out, talk to him and make him feel like you're his best friend and just encourage him to do what he can to make himself feel better even if it's a bowl of pudding. If he has an eating disorder and he complies, then get him to the hospital.

When Gandhi stopped eating it was not anorexia. When an immature female stops eating it is to stop herself from menstruating and becoming female. She can't bare to change from the simple baby state to the reproductive woman. These cases all have depression and abuse histories and almost always end in death fifteen or twenty years later. It is the most sure way of suicide there is as the mind develops false logic along the way. Few are willing to help the skin and bone person heading to the grave.

If he goes to school, let the school nurse know. His parents or an adult that you trust are other contacts. He has an illness and must be treated. Take care.

Tell a trusted adult about it. They can contact people that will get him help. Even if he gets mad at you in the end he will really thank you.
