Its the weirdest thing...I have never had a nosebleed in my entire life until a month ago when I guess the weather got a little warmer. Now I have them every other to every day. The worst part is that they are bad and don't stop bleeding for 2 hours. I am going to get my veins caterized but any advice for how to deal with them or stop them?

Nosebleeds are generally caused by fragile capillary walls. To strengthen them, take 500 milligrams of rutin daily. Rutin is a bioflavinoid from buckwheat. Vitamin C and other bioflavinoids are also helpful. Even though you are going to get the capillaries cauterized, you apparently have a nutrition need that hasn't been met. Rutin will help your entire circulatory system. You can also get it from eating buckwheat regularly. This isn't a fast fix. But it should take care of the underlying reason.

(I knew a woman whose blood vessels were so fragile that her legs were discolored. She was using crutches and said her doctor told her she would be in a wheelchair eventually. She was already taking lots of Vitamin C, but when she followed my suggestion to take rutin, her condition improved greatly.)

I understand that dropping a set of cold keys down the back of your shirt will stop nosebleeds within a few minutes. No idea why that would work. I did find a similar suggestion cited here among others:

I had that happen several years ago. I got all sorts of advice and nothing really helped until I got my nose cauterized. I hope you can get in soon to someone who will do this for you. I know what a pain it is to get those nosebleeds so often.

Good luck to you.

It could be allergies. To stop them after it starts bleeding, my friend pinches her nose were your sinuses are. and it stop the bleeding. but I would tell your doctor for safety. There you go hope you get it taken care of! :D
