How is China different from the US :
- China 1,3 billion, US 300 millions ( sorry if I'm wrong )
- mainly Chinese, US melting pot of population
- a 5000 years history for China, the US less than 300 years as a nation
- US people more educated than Chinese, that's for sure
- China doesn't attack other countries ( sorry I had to do some politics ), they only want what they think is theirs to begin with
- Chinese people are more interested in learning foreign languages than the US citizens
- very important : Chinese people don't hate or dislike the French like the Americans do (^_^). I'm Frenh so a little joke here
- Chinese has a real cuisine and not junk food like the US.

How are they similar :
- the same will to consume
- the dollar is liked in both countries
- both quite polluted
- very proud of their country
- both countries have a strict immigration policies

There are thousands of differences in the way people live, and even in their basic philosphy. One very important thing to remember is that China is a very ancient culture and the U.S. is a relatively young nation. Language, food, government, physical appearance, standard of living: all are different. What's the same? We're all human beings. People love and hate each other, have children whom they love and want the best for. Everyone is trying to have as nice a life as they can, and after that, we all die. Can't get more similar than that.

1 - the people are different, most Americans are white, Chinese have black hair and almond shaped eyes
2 - Our currency is different, Ren Min Bi, we use the dollar
3 - Governments, we are democracy they are communist

6 - Education, theirs is teacher centered our is student centered
7 - Eating tools, we use forks, spoons knives, they use chopsticks
8 - Manners, they burp at the table, chewing with their mouths open, spit out bones on the table, it is perfectly acceptable, we normally don't do these
9 - Diapers, although it is getting more common most babies wear split bottom pants and go wherever they are, we use diapers
10 - most Chinese students study 7 days a week, American students like to have fun sometimes
11 - we eat wheat they eat rice
12 - In Hong Kong they drive on the left side of the road we drive on the right
13 - They have characters for their words we use letters
14 - Chinese have a bad habit of littering, most Americans will find a garbage can before putting garbage on the ground

1. China likes to threaten the country of Taiwan. (sorry to bring up that bit of biz.) USA likes to pretend to not notice, its too busy shaking its dick at Iran, Venezuala and N Korea.
2. china likes to invade, suppress and force integration of populations in Tibet. (whoops, sorry to point that one out) once again USA doesn't notice, its busy creating 'democracy' in Iraq.
3. china has many environmental disasters. USA had theirs back in the 50, 60's and 70's and back then nobody noticed. Whoops I forgot about Hurricane Katrina! Theres a wake up call to ya matey!
4. china is run by the Triads (yellow guy mafia), USA is run by semi-reformed Nazi 'businessmen' who got tired of wasting collatoral back in the 50's. (the white guy mafia) who decided to shut up about colors so things could start getting done and people could have lives again. (for a short 50-60 year period of time) Now of course they appear to have forgotten all about that idea and its back to murderin' and thuggin' in the name of 'color pride'.

7. China likes to endanger world health by not reporting medical problems and actively denying Taiwan representation in World Health organizations to contain pandemic threats. USA likes to endanger world health by producing weapons and increasing research into weapons development. Of course thats probably because he with the most guns gets to pick where the cash goes and not really the politicians fault. Not many people will stand up to literal armies of armed psychos. (NRA)
8. China has less guns owned per person. So far. USA leads the world. WOO China!

Your average chinese guy probably has bronze colored skin, black hair, brown eyes and big cheekbones left over from Genghis's boys back in the days of mass rape and genocide while he was rockin the world. Your average american had a good chance of being white, a better than average chance of being black and hispanics are increasing rapidly. Most americans have seen the faces of people from all over the world, even in the midwest. Most chinese only see different looking people inside big cities in China.
10. You wont get shot unless you piss off a mafia guy in China. You will get shot if you piss off anybody in America. WOO AMERICA!
11. America made the top 25 most dangerous places to live list last year (2006)! china so far isnt up there anymore. Probably in the late 60's-79 (Mao time/Vietnam/ teaching Pol Pot how to slaughter and destroy a society time) it was there.
12. Chinese mostly are trying to improve their society with the exeption of a few who look back at 'the good ol days'. Americans are mostly looking back on the 'good old days'- with the exception of a few engineers who look towards the future- unfortunately their days are numbered. The 'good old days' = the deathkiss of progress and the end of happiness. (there never was a good day in the past- only your personal happy memories and leaps of hope at getting temporary points accomplished.)
13. Both spoil and overprotect their children. Chinese spend more on educating their kids. This is why China will overtake and surpass. Americans are busy trying to get their kids to rehab and have not bothered with trying to educate at all anymore, because their 'war on drugs' has only glorified the industry for poor people, and helped the profit margins of drug lords.
14. Both are insane, messy interesting places. Thats why everyone goes.
15. Immigrants used to want to go to USA. Until 2001, when people went crazy over what in the long run amounts to a light slap. Now more people are thinking about staying home to be liquidated. Its faster and easier!
