I don't understand how Christians can be so stupid. An earlier question asked about contradictions in the Bible, and one guy responded with several - almost 100 - and apparently there are many more, yet Christians respond that there are no contradictions in the Bible. It's right there, in print, you fools! I also read that God doesn't make contradictions, man does. But the Bible is THE WORD OF GOD, no? Therefore, using simple logic, God is full of contradictions. Your religion is full of contradictions. How can you people be so retarded (and by retarded I mean slow or limited in intellectual development)?

There's nothing uneducated about my question. The Bible contradicts itself. It is there, in print. Right in front of your face. Contradictions. I'm asking a simple question - how can you deny that contradictions exist in the Bible? You can believe what you want, but you're living a total illusion if you deny the fact.

That is because most Atheist-fan-based websites will pull versed out of context and make it seem like they are contradictions, but I looked them up and they are not.

There are no more contradictions in the Bible than in science.

Bosian String Theory is still a valid theory, however it allows for a Tachyon which violates Einsteins theoritical rules about faster than light "things."

Other string theories have more weight because they don't have this exception, but it doesn't invalide Bosian strings. It just means maybe Einstein is wrong or maybe there is something beyond relativity we don't understand.

So, if you want to purge any "so called" contradictions from the Bible, then you better also purge them from Science as well.

A contradiction is a contradiction.

You better also purge them from Politics as well. If MURDER is wrong then ASSINATION is wrong, even if it's Hitler.

Bush's whole war on Iraq is a contradiction. WE were TOLD definitevly there WERE weapons of MAss Destruction and that is WHY we are there, since there are none WE SHOULD BE GONE. To remain there is a POLTICAL contradiction.

Hey Chazzy - Do you honestly think that Christians are not aware of these alleged contradictions? You should try and really get to know some Christians and see what they are like and what they believe rather than believing ridiculous and ignorant propaganda. Use some simple logic, and realize that you are the victim of hate speech. You have let people that despise Christians fill your head with false information and small minded generalizations. Whenever anyone is led to believe that huge chunks of the population, whether they are Atheists, or Gays, or Buddhists, or Christians, or women, or Jews, or Muslims are inferior, or stupid... they have fallen prey to something that most adolescents see through. And what is worse, you call those you despise and misunderstand, retards? Oh, how pitiful.

I take great offense to that statement. I think that yes, there are contradictions in the Bible and the only reason I think there is is because I have read the whole Bible and it can be confusing. I think the Bible is a guide for Christians and to believe in it takes Faith. Being a Christian takes Faith and I have no proof to give you that God is real.It is something that you have to figure out yourself. If you decided to believe in God he would show you how to understand the Bible and you would develope that Faith also.To not believe that we have a creator,to me is retarded.

a million.Judas lack of life: at the same time as someone commits suicide, there are consistently rumors about the hows and whys. The "how" would not actually matter number, does it? the reality is, the guy felt accountable and killed himself. per chance by technique of putting, per chance by technique of jumping -- in spite of. It only would not count number number. 2. Slaves: Slaves were established on the time the former testomony and New testomony were written. Acknowledging that there have been slaves isn't condoning slavery. Giving slave-proprietors and slaves recommendations for coping with the region in a Christian way isn't condoning slavery. Christianity from the first became consistently "radical" about no longer have social instructions yet treating each body as equivalent, and also you'll tell that by technique of the idea that slaves could be lively elements of the Christian community, too.

It dosent matter about lingustic contradictions at all, it is all about the logic of christian belief. The entire bible is full of logical mistakes and this is supposed to have came from an all powerefull all knowing being. Christians will say that god does not make mistakes and that it is man that failed to record it's message the right way ( then why continue to read this tome of crap) If an all powerfull god wanted to reach it's creation then it could have done so at it's own command, also if this being is all knowing then it would have known that man would mess it up and it would have done somthing different to get it's message across. Religion is the rejection of reason in the face of reason. Morality is somthing that humans have developed thrue experiance and not from some invisable diety. Look at the way that christians justify hatred and contempt in the name of their god saying they hate the sin and not the sinner , but what harbours the sin? the sinner, and the christians try and use the language game to conceal the hate they have for anyone or anything that they can not controll. Heaven and hell are both controll tactics for the herd to conform to. Christians by their own acts and definition are paranoid, hatefull controll freaks. so morals ( if we define morals to be the emotional human response or restance to acts or conditions that we thrue experiance know to be negative to the human experiance) are not recgonised by the organised religions. Truth shown by the history of the christian church thruout the ages all the way up to the recent sexual attacks and cover ups by the catholic church and the less than vocal condemnation from the other christian churches. If you blow the whistle on the big church than all the other ones will be up for inspection. The Religions have been forced down the gulletts of human kind since we stopped being nomadic tribes and Christians are the products of misinformation ( deliberate and non deliberate alike) passed down thrue the years. this is a very powerfull meme becouse it has very very deep roots and these roots have been reinforced with guilt and shame along with outright terror and misconception. The church loves to keep the truth from the herd and it is a great effort on it's part to smash anyone that can really expose it for what it is. The greatest acheivment for the church is that it has managed to keep millions of people dizzy and in controll for ages. People are waking up and that is why we hear the crying of " foul" from the christians and when they cry they get mad and when they get mad we get our wars. Religions love to kill the one that says they are full of ****. They are all full of ****. Rotton bastards are not gonna be happy untill they destroy the world but why should they care, they think that their lord is comin to take them out of here just as they **** it all up for the rest of us.

As a Christian I have been taught to ignore uneducated questions.

2 Tim 2:23
23 But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes.
KJV

Titus 3:9
9 But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain.
KJV

Sorry that you feel the need to use the words stupid, fool, and retarded to describe people who haven't even had the pleasure of meeting you. My being a Christian isn't bothering anyone but that's life. You are allowed your opinion.

EDIT: If we are wrong about believing the Bible and live our lives out only to find out that it wasn't true and we are nothing then what's the prob? However if we are right and it is all true and there is a heaven and a hell and we retards are going to heaven then what about the people who thought it was just a bunch of contradictions?

The Bible does not contradict itself.

Misunderstandings, missapplications, mistranslations and bad revisions, (which the KJV is one of), lead several to the idea the Bible contradicts itself.

The Bible is indeed the Word of God and why He allows the bad copies of the Bible to exist is because the truth that leads to everlasting life can be found in them also.

Unfortunately man's eyes cannot see the truth of the scriptures. You cannot see because the carnal mind is at enmity with God. Pray that you might have spiritual eyes to see and ears to hear, then you will understand. Until then you will remain in blindness.

We don't even bother responding to those "contradictions", each one can be shown to be not a contradiction, but truth ... and why spend our lives debating that with you, when the fact is that the truth of God is not revealed to you for whatever reason and nothing we say is going to make a difference for you.
