Everyone loves this place. And why not? The music rocks, the food is a step up from typical flea market fare, and who knows what unbelievable finds lurk around the corner? Come equipped with enough savvy to negotiate, but be advised that an antique Bombay dresser won't come cheaply no matter how much one bargains. Admission is $2 for adults, $1 for seniors and students and free for children 12 and under.
It's as though everyone wanted a store on Melrose, but they settled for cheaper overhead. So there's a lot less of the junk that litters many flea markets. Tiffany-style lamps, gorgeous mosaic tables and hand-sewn clothing creations can be found here. Industry types often pop up with promotional products. And then there are the only-in-Hollywood items: Where else could one snag a purple leopard-spotted loveseat? This stop is a favorite among celebs including David Spade and Leonardo DiCaprio, so keep your eyes peeled while shopping.
