I hate stretch marks with a passion! Unfortunately no cream or lotion can make them go away. Trust me, I'm not just going off of the words of dermatologists, I've tried almost every cream out there. If the stretch marks are still red/purple, you can significantly reduce them with laser treatments. The price is pretty steep, up in the hundreds. I'm not that desperate to get rid of mine, so I can't tell you how great the results are. I'm sure clinics that offer laser treatments can show you before and after pictures. I have found though that if you lose the weight you gained (if it's excess, from pregnancy or something), the stretch marks are a lot less noticeable. And they will turn white eventually on their own, and become less noticeable too.

Cocoa butter will reduce the appearance of them, but they won't really go away. I have a lot on my thighs from gaining/losing weight. They probably have a procedure to get rid of them. Ask your dermatologist!

Coco or shea butter should do the trick. you can find it at any Wal Mart stores near the lotion area.
