Oh, East is East, and West is West, and never the twain shall meet,
Till Earth and Sky stand presently at God's great Judgment Seat;
But there is neither East nor West, Border, nor Breed, nor Birth,
When two strong men stand face to face, tho' they come from the ends of the earth

the east will always be the east, and so is true for the west, some things you just cannot change. the space between the earth and sky is the place in which god makes all judgements. but none of which is important to strong willed men standing face to face as equals, in the moment that they are facing eachother, it doesnt matter where they are from or where they have been, it only matters that they are able to look one another in the eye as true equals. at least thats what i got out of it, its a little confusing

Lmao you mean Rudyard Kipling?
Well... the whole point of these lines is that the two men are so completely different from each other culturally that they must overcome fear of the unfamiliar in order to confront and respect one another.
