First of all, I am sorry that you and your baby have had to go through this.
Honestly though, if it's best for your baby to be out of your womb than inside it. Put your trust in God.
Neonatal Intensive Care Units are so amazing these days, my first born was in one 3 years ago and as hard as it is seeing your little one in there, so fragile and so small....take some sense of peace knowing they are safe and those nurses and doctors deserve the utmost praise. They are seriously Gods Angels working here on earth. Your baby will be their top priority.
Chances of healthy baby at your stage is great.
Stay positive for your little one and stay close. I went to every feeding and held, held , held her so close.
we did not go through what you are going through and I send you all the best wishes for you both, gods blessings be with you.
I can't tell you exactly when they'll take him out if they do, they will just keep close eye on you and when they think it's best for baby to be out, they will do so.
By the way, your doctors should be answering all your questions, if they aren't....you need to ask them to tell you more information. YOu have every right to know what they are thinking and have all your answers met. Have a list of questions ready for your next high risk visit and your normal ob/gyn visit and make sure they answer your questions. It's their job!!!
Take care and Good luck.

I strarted not to answer because I really don't have any experience with what you are talking about. But, I felt like you need reassurance even if it's not from an expert. I know that at the end of the 7th month a "normal" fetus would weigh about 3 pounds. My baby book says that there is a good chance of survival if your baby is born now. Considering there are stories of tiny 2 pounders that survive and go on to be healthy, it seems as if your chances are okay. We are so lucky that medical advancements are what they are. I know that this may not be more than you know already, but do remember that miracles happen every day!! The 2 very best things you can do are pray for your baby's health and comfort and stay as healthy as possible. God bless you and your little one.

I dont know, I have never dealt with that, but I cant imagine the baby doing better outside than where it is at this time. I would think they would wait as long as possible in order to give the baby the best chance at a full survival and recovery.
You are considered full term at 37 weeks, and as long as your baby is growing and thriving, although it may be small, I dont see them taking it.
However, a guy that i work with, his wife went into preterm labor at 26 weeks with a baby girl. Believe it or not, the baby girl gets to come home this weekend. She survived and did very well. She has been hospitalized for the past 6 weeks, but she is a trooper and surpassed all odds.
Babies are very strong, and we dont give them near enough credit. They can tolerate more than even we can. So keep your thoughts positive, no matter what. Dont give up hope that everything will be just fine.
I wish u all the luck in the world for a healthy baby hun. I will keep u in my prayers.

Apple jacks and rice milk - you may also wish to recall a cereal with much less white sugar, however total, a well alternative. Most cereals are enriched and so much milks, even no longer from cows, have calcium. Grilled cheese sandwich - well supply of calcium and fats, either one of which you wish to have. Yay if the wheat bread is product of entire wheat. Baked potato with butter - once more, you wish to have fats, however that potato has plenty of carbs and nutrients you wish to have, too. Probably the great alternative you made. Salad with cheese - I don't have any inspiration what you recall a "salad" to be. If you imply spinach leaves, tomatoes, carrots, and cucumbers, it is an first-rate alternative. If you imply ranch dressing, iceberg lettuce, and cheese, you'll be able to simply as simply pass it. You must most likely be adding extra culmination and veggies (principally inexperienced veggies) on your vitamin. Also I do not see any concrete assets of protein, that's most important for fetal mind and muscle progress. It's no longer approximately the burden you reap; it is approximately the overall healthiness of what you are consuming. You can reap kind of and nonetheless be healthful and feature a healthful little one.

HIGH RISK PREGNANCY
High risk is just a medical term that obstetricians use to describe mothers who have a higher than average risk of having health problems during their pregnancy or birth, or of delivering a baby with problems. Common risk factors are insulin-dependent diabetes, high blood pressure, or signs of premature labor. This term only reflects a statistical probability that a problem may occur in your pregnancy or with your baby; it is not an absolute prediction, and you, in fact, may have no problems at all.
We prefer the term "high-responsibility" pregnancy. Our term means more than using specialized, more attentive medical care and a high-tech hospital; it implies that you must take greater responsibility for your own care and for your own birth decisions. Instead of resigning yourself to the high-risk label by becoming a passive patient and leaving all the birth decisions up to your doctor, become a high responsibility mother. Take an even more active part in the birth partnership. You need to be more informed, more responsible, and more involved in decision-making than the average mother, and you need to take better care of yourself.
The first question you should ask your doctor after you are classified as "high risk" is what specific things should you do to lower your risk.
6 Ways to Reduce the Risk of Premature Delivery
1. Avail yourself of good prenatal care.
2. Don't smoke. Quit before conception if you can.
3. Avoid alcohol consumption.
4. Eat nutritiously and gain the right amount of weight for you.
5. Avoid illegal drug use and use of over-the-counter medications not approved by your healthcare provider.
6. Avoid chronic, unresolved stress throughout your pregnancy
TEN GROWTH MILESTONES AT THIRTY TO THIRTY-FOUR WEEKS
Let's look at the ten growth milestones baby is now making:
By the end of this month baby weighs from 3-4 pounds and is 16-18 inches long.
Fat deposits double, giving baby a more filled-out appearance.
Her skin begins to shed the silky, lanugo hair that covered the skin.
The hair on her eyelids and eyebrows grows longer.
Some babies sprout a full head of hair.
She can blink her eyes in reaction to outside light.
Baby has rapid brain growth and experiences definite REM and non-REM sleep stages.
Hiccups, which a mother may experience as sudden jerks, are common now.
Baby becomes more aware of her outside world and can react to its stimuli.
If she is born now, your baby may be able to breathe outside the womb on her own without medical assistance.

I'm very sorry but I do not have all the answers you need. I do know that you need to find other doctors who are willing to talk to you and explain exactly what's going on and answer all these questions. It really makes me angry that your doctors have not answered these questions for you, they should have. Demand answers, and please find other doctors if you are not satisfied with the responses that you get!
In the mean time, pray, and I will pray, that everything is ok with your little one.
Good luck and God bless you sweetheart.
