Norco is a strong pain reliever. It's a narcotic and as such a controlled substance. It can be addictive if taken improperly or for a prolonged period of time. There are side effects, which are to be explained to you by your doctor and you need to be screened for potential interactions with other medications.

You would probably recognize it better by its brand names: Vicodin, Lortab, Lorcet and various others. Like all narcotic painkillers it can be very addicting regardless of good intentions if taken for a while, and can lose its potency as your body gets used to it.

it's NORCO. And it is a combined drug: acetaminophen and hydrocodone. Same drus thatn Vicodin, but different strength. Habit forming drug? YES
