Use hand weights, bend forward at the waist and slowly swing the weight forward and back with your arm straight and bent. Both positions work a different muscle group.

The stand straight and raise the weights up from your sides repeatedly.

Then do circles, forward until you burn, then backward until you burn, then rest.

Repeat these moves until the muscles burn, then rest. Slower movement works the muscles more thoroughly. Do as many cycles as you can comfortably do, but not more than an hour.

You will be sore the next day as your muscles recover and tone.

Do this exercise on alternate days, to allow the muscles time to recover. You'll get better results than if you do it daily.

Also, to get even better results, lay off the bread and reduce other carb intake. Stick to loads of veg, fruit and protein.

Have a lovely evening :D

Get you a couple of 1 or 2 pound weights. A video would be best to follow. I personally like the 10 minute Solution Pilates dvd. It has a 10 min workout for arms and shoulders. Also check cosmo, tenn ppl. or other such magazines they always have some sort of programs esp. during prom season. If you really want good results start about 6-8 weeks before the event. Otherwise your results will not be that noticable.
