Ok so there's this boy that lives by me and goes to my school and we've been friends for about a year now. We never hung out outside of school, we'd just talk at school. Well i found out from his friend that he has a huge crush on me. He talks to me more and more now and is basically obsessed. He even asked me to hang out with him this weekend & it's really awkward when it's just me and him. The problem is i don't like him the way he does and since i know he likes me i think its really mean that im kinda leading him on. I don't want to stop being friends though. What do i do?

You just have to tell him that you only want to be friends. That he is cool to hang out and talk to, but only as friends and that you are not attracted to him...
He will understand. It is better to set him free to look for someone else, you are doing him a favor.

Simply tell him how you feel. You have to be honest or else you will get into something deep and willl end up living a lie. Then it will be extremely hard to get out of. He'll have to understand that he can't make you love him the way he does you. Be gentle though or you'll crush him and the friendship will be over. Good luck

We'll that is a stick situation, because if he's only being your friend because he likes you, then that can ruin the relationship unless you talk to him about it. My ex best friend was like that. After we graduated he told me how mush he had a HUGE crush on me, and it seems like thats the only reason we became friends. Now we don't talk anymore....
However, if you talk to him about how you want to be his friend and you aren't looking for a boyfriend in that respect... Hopefully he'll understand....

Just tell him what a friend of mine recently told me. I've known her for about 2 years now and when i asked her out she said "you're one of the best friends I've ever had and if we started dating and it didn't work out I'm afraid it might ruin our friendship."

It's very hard not to hurt someones feelings. Just come out and tell him the truth. And remember this for next time. If it has tires or testicles your going to have problems with it. I hope this helped.

well i was in the same situation but i liked it when the boy was obsessed. Maybe u should talk 2 him about it. tell him how u feel.

You just kindly tell him this. " I'm sorry ______ but I just want to be friends." Tell him privately though. Not in front of all his friends. You don't want to embarrass either one of you.
