simple math problem. military time is a 24 hr clock...pm=13-24, am=0-12 hrs. so were dealin w. pm. 1500 is 300 past 1200 [noon] which means its 3:00. think of miliotary time as a 24 hr clock, the las 2 digits is the minutes so 1500=3pm no minutes.

If it's 1500 in military time (24 hour clock) it's 1500 hours in the US depending on what time zone you're in. If you're refering to zulu time which all branches of the service use when on deployment, you need to add 7 hours for EST (east coast) and another hour for each time zone as you go west.
Showstoppa,
M = Mike not Mark and midnight is 0000 not 2400.
Aryana,
When using the 24 hour clock, there is no ":" in the time.

3:00 PM
If you subtract 12 hours from 1500 hours. You can do this for 1300-2400 hours. Even though you'll see 2400hrs displayed as 0000.
