For the most part those who did not accept Vatican II went the way of Pius X and kind of got themselves ex-communicated. One must believe in the Catholic Church to remain a Catholic and this means the changes of the REAL Vatican II to the Liturgy and other things that were of a Traditional nature. The thing is, many people involved in the Liturgy saw the changes of Vatican Ii as license to institute their own faulty Theology under the heading of "The Spirit of Vatican II". Things are gradually coming back around and there is a movement, I believe with these malcontents to distance themselves from Rome and become "The American Catholic Church" with their own Patriarch and then they feel they can institute whatever the heck they want (women priests, gay stuff etc)

I dont accept the errors introduced by the Second Vatican Council. It was only a pastoral council but has been given as much importance as a dogmatic council.

It has done away with our centuries old traditional Latin Mass and has come up with this new Protestantized mass that has introduced Communion in hand, Eucharistic ministers, shifting of the Blessed Sacrament from the main altar to some obscure corner of the church, emphasis of Our Lady as 'Mediatrix of all grace ' shifted to just 'Mediatrix', introducing novelties into the new mass making it more like a circus act rather than the solemn, prayerful atmosphere that used to surround the traditional Mass, guitar and rock music sometimes replacing the prayerful Gregorian chants, no more preaching about hell or the need of penance (leading to more souls being lost), no more 'Catholic church is the only ark of salvation' leading to a false ecumenism wherein one thinks you can belong to any denomination to be saved etc etc.

I'm so mad I could just go on and on. Our centuries old Catholic legacy is being torn before our eyes. I still go to church and celebrate the new mass since a Traditional mass is not close to where I live and the only thing that keeps me going is the moment when the priest consecrates the bread and wine into the Body and Blood of Christ. I receive Communion only from a priest and not a eucharistic minister and only receive on the tongue and not with my hand. Given the choice I would still prefer to go to a traditional Latin Mass.

I will pray for the Pope to consecrate Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary as per the request of Our Lady of Fatima. A big change will come about in the Catholic world when this consecration is done. I will support much persecuted priests like Fr. Nicholas Gruner who have been struggling to bring back our lost legacy and have been trying to warn souls of great dangers that await them if the consecration is not done.

If you are interested in knowing more about this good priest who has been trying to mobilize the faithful to petition Pope Benedict XVl to make the Consecration visit www.fatima.org

Also make some time and watch this documentary 'Heaven's peace plan' that is making waves:

As a devout Catholic, and one who does accept Vatican II, I can tell you that there are very few Catholics who don't accept it. They are pretty much estranged from the mainstream church, andtheir liturgy is strictly in Latin. I believe Mel Gibson is one of these Catholics who don't accept the main points of Vatican II. He built a church where mass is celebrated in Latin only. I don't know who the pastor is, though, or if it's sanctioned by the Vatican.
