For some reason, the muscle in my legs are very sore and they hurt a lot! I know for sure I did not pull a muscle because I have pulled a muscle before and this is not what it feels like. I also excercise a lot so the problem may not be coming from that. Please tell me what is going on! Also, it has not always like this.... Help!!!

Warm Epsom Salt baths will help relax your muscle and relieve the discomfort.

You should also think about having your calcium level checked by a doctor. A doctor can make sure what the imbalance is. A lot of people assume it's a potassium deficiency, but a calcium deficiency, or calcium/magnesium imbalance can cause leg pain, muscle cramps and spasms.

Now you don't have to go to the doctor. If you feel comfortable examining your diet and supplement you may be able to find out where your falling short in your diet and correct it.

If you aren't taking a good whole food vitamin mineral supplement you might want to get one. You should also consider a Calcium Magnesium Zinc supplement and it should have Vitamin D in it as well because it helps your body better use the calcium. Most people who take a Calcium Magnesium Zinc supplement find that it has a very relaxing affect. I've even known people who use it as a sleep aid.

Good luck and if I can be of any help let me know.

It could be from exercising, or perhaps your leg muscles cramped up in the night and they are sore as a result. Make sure that before you exercise you stretch, and drink lots of water :)

Maybe you aren't getting enough potassium in your diet. Try eating bananas or taking multi-vitamins.
