I was a nurse for 10 years when I was a single mom. I worked at a home for the Elderly. We were fortunate enough to be able to provide Hospice in our facility. There were many people that when about to die would talk, and motion come here. Many spoke to loved ones that had already passed on. Once when I was doing a check at night, went into one of my favorite patients room. She was talking on and on to someone. When I asked her who she was talking to she replied that it was her husband and he was sitting in the chair beside her. I had more experiences like that than I can count. Everyone strengthened my testimony further about God and Life after we die! Amazing!

I volunteered in a hospice for a period of 10 years .
Yes I have seen the situation you speak of.
One of my favourites was a man who told me he had woken at 3 in the morning and his pain was so bad he said to God "if your there you are going to have to do something about this pain as I cannot handle it anymore.
Well he fell into a deep sleep,when he woke up there was a light at the end of his bed,the next minute he raised his voice and said and anyone who doesn't believe in Jesus Christ is a bloody idiot!!
Another situation, the son and daughter of an elderly gentleman were visiting him and he was staring at the door with the most beautiful smile on his face,they could not see anything,so they asked him "dad what are you looking at?
He answered the angel can't you see it! he was quite frustrated because they could not see it.

I have seen that. I think they are seeing their loved ones who have passed before them.

No, but when I have administered Last Rites, I have heard them sigh and relax. I have heard them whisper "O.K." I have seen smiles come on their faces.
