i) A light brown, theoretically. But one might find the inherent bias of the brown revealed, as when a wan russet purple results, or an off-cream pink.
ii) A dark brown. But again, a blue black may give a more purple hue, where a red black may give a richer, deeper brown.
Really, the only test is to mix and see. In general, guaches are the purest pigments available, and give results closest to the 3-primary-colour theory. A good book in this regard is called "Blue and Yellow Don't Make Green", explaining the physical basis underlying practical colour mixing for painters.

Mixing white is tint. Mixing black is shade. Mixing grey is adding tone.
If you mix white with brown, you get a lighter tinted brown.
If you mix black with brown, you get a darker shaded brown.
Brown is most intense in its original color. Adding tint or shade fades the color. Hope this will help you.

Depending on the brown you can end up with a flesh to a sandy tone to a mud when you mix white with it. Mixing brown with black will give you a black. Mix a lot of brown with black and you end up with a muddy black.
Now....go to your palette and mix the hues for real and you can see for yourself exactly what you get.
