i am a guy who is also trying to gain weight...it may be different cuz im a guy but i am taking protien shakes and just eating a lot of meat and excercising and ive gained about 10 pounds in 2 months

Count your blessings that you are thin. Enjoy it while you can, when you get older it is a problem that you will have to deal with. If you feel that you are too thin you could have your thyroid checked, You may have an overactive thyroid that is causing you to loose too much weight and it keeps you very thin. If you don't think that it is that , just say thank you, when people say you are a twig. Most people are too heavy anyway.

My suggestion as a 27 yr old woman, who has been thin ALL her life is "Let it go". The most important thing right now is to focus on school, not your weight. Since you have a good appetite and regular exercise regimen....you are the picture of perfect health.

i'm 12 years old, 5"2' and 120 lbs. i'm almost over weight and to me, 13 at 90 lbs is small!(sorry, if that annoyed you). I would try to eat a little more. not like ice cream but like fruit. keep it healthy but if you want to gain weight then you should try eating a tiny bit more after you're not hungry anymore after a meal. i hoped that helps. good luck.

You should get a bathing suit that looks good on a thin frame. There are lots of these. If you start eating more calories now you will be overweight soon enough.

hmmm if you are thin, taking slim fast will put weight on you- it does the opposite effect compared to if u were overweight. EVERY girl wants to be thin, just so long asyou're eating NEVER stop eating. My friend is somewhat annorexic and its awful. ... just do what you're doing just BE SURE TO ALWAYS EAT I cant stress that enough EAT EAT EAT

all you have to do is buy the Ensure Plus. They have Choc. and Strw. It is kinda expensive and you can buy them any where. Like CVS, Walmart, Target. It really helped me. The problem may be that you haven't had a period yet.
