Relationships can get very complicated and can have bumpy stages. It effected and improved the relationship and I do not know how to explain this really. It's just the whole concept of them going to jail is totally effective. But once they are free it can improve the relationship because it shows that no matter where you are the you love eachother so much and can't bare to see one another seperated for a long period of time. You can show them that jail wasn't the best way to go when your in a strong relationship with another partner. I'm great with my husband now and he was only in there for 3 weeks because of an issue that I cannot discuss.

My sons father went to jail when we first met for drug charges and I stayed with him. He said he was going to change blah blah. I got pregnant right after he got out and I struggled to keep him out of trouble. My son is now 6 and his dads back in jail. I broke up with him about 2 years ago because I was so fed up with his crap. Its hard to say if it will make a person change, jail is pretty scary. You can never change a person they have to want to change. It effected our relationship alot. And If I could go back I would have never stayed with him. But I did have my son with him and he's my world now. You have to think if you want a person like this in your life. You should always surround yourself with positive people in your life. Because negetive people will just bring you down with them.

My best friend stood by her man when he spent 2 years inside for B&E of a drug store for drugs as he was an addict. It killed her spirit and all self esteem and when he got out he didn't change and dragged her down with him.95% of people who do time are losers and should be avoided and not worth the wait.

If your boyfriend is in trouble with the law, he most likely will get you in trouble too. Pull out will you can, i don't understand why people can't respect the laws, it is so unnecessary
