I want my wedding colors to be brown and pink but the ring bearer already has a black tux for another wedding. It is also hard to find brown tuxes. How would black tuxes look with a brown and pink theme??

Depends on how old the ring bearer is. If he is like 3 or 4 and still in that cute stage, then no one will notice the colors. However, get him a dark choclate pair of pants from the gap or the childrens place and then he can blend right in. i personlly think it will look odd. I am going to a brown and pink wedding Saturday. Her guys are wearing khaki linen suits.

My color scheme is teal and brown. I asked a similar question, which you may find helpful to look at. Anyways, I think I'm going to have my bridesmaids in teal dresses with a brown sash and the men in black tuxes with teal vests. I found that the Espresso color works best with the black. Having black tuxes with the brown vests does not look bad, though. Anyways, I am going within the next month or two to get the tuxes booked to rent. When are you going to book yours? If you would be doing it after then, I can send you some pics of what they looked like. Just let me know.

I think black tuxes would be fine. I don't really like brown tuxes and they are very hard to match the tints of brown. Just use brown sparingly as an accent and let the main color be pink. Black goes with everything.

Best wishes!

they have the off white (Cream color) tux and that being with in the brown hues. Also maybe you should have the guys wear nice brown slacks with a cream shirt and light pink tie? They might be more comfortable and will be able to use the outfit again. This would work for an afternoon wedding and not be so formal this way too your guy stands out and so do you

The reason it's hard to find brown tuxes is that many men find brown carries a negative feeling. Black is a good, classic color that will go well with everything, including pink.

I think this would be fine! Black and brown mixed is the new thing! Although I don't think you should make this decision based on your ring bearer alone. Remember, it's your day! Good luck!

P.S. Awesome choice on the brown/pink theme!

As a florist and bridalwear designer, let me assure you that it works just fine!

There ARE brown tuxes out there, but really, brown is a neutral. Brown with black used to be frowned on, now it's all good. They actually addressed this at a recent floral convention, so I find your question timely! :)

Why not have the men where black tuxs, brown vests, and pink flowers?

They have brown tuxedos. My Future Husband has decided that is what he and the groomsmen, ring bearers, and my godfather will be wearing for our wedding. I would speak with tuxedo shops to see who has them. I hope that I helped you out. Best Wishes to the both of you.

I'm sorry but ive seen it done before and it looked aweful. nobody but the bride liked it. black and brown dont look good together. the pictures looked really terrible and blah. not enough colour so it looks really dull.
