When I shave my legs, I use lotion as soon as I get out of the shower. But, my legs always get dry. I put on more lotion at night, and they are still dry. I always use shaving creme when I shave. So what could make this happen?

your shower temperature might be too hot. If your skin itches and it is constantly dry, then you might be using water that is way too hot. Try turning it down a little, and when you shave you legs, use conditioner as shaving cream--it makes the leg hair easier to cut and it's full of moisture. You could also try using a creamier lotion or even vitamin E oil.

i have really dry skin too, you might want to try to take cooler showers and once you get out of the shower.. pat your self dry with a soft towel and apply a moisturizer.. Aveeno daily moisturingzing lotion is really good and so is Palmer's cocoa butter formula

you might be using the wrong lotion.
if your legs are that dry...at night use body butter....it's heavier than regular lotion and made for very dry skin.
www.keywestaloe.com ( excellent lotions..trust me!)

Maybe the lotion isn`t working and you should get a different kind.
