my son is going to be 2 years old this summer...in our Family the 2nd B-day is a big to-do. there will be lots of people ther and TONS of gifts for him.
is it ok to put on the invitation "no toy guns/weapons".

i feel really strongly about my son not having and toy guns or swords or anything like that.

Of course it's okay! You could write, "No violent or dangerous toys please." Just make sure to put please... that is polite. Most people should know better than to give that kinda stuff to a two year old anyway, I'd think.

howdy i dont want to critise your parenting but why cant he have a toy sword or gun, yes they are dangerous 'when there real' let your son make his own decsions he may not even want to play with them my daughter 3 loves them and my son 18 months hates them so yeah

Yeah, that's fine. Maybe 'Nothing violent' or 'Nothing dangerous'. I think that would be fine.
