if i have a cavity how do i know if it needs to be removed or just get a filling. the last one i had?

I think you should get a second opinion. I had a very, very, very bad cavity, but they didnt pull it, they just filled it. It took a bit longer because of the condition it was in, but still, I would get a second opinion!
