well first of all stop acting desperado..the more desperate you act, the more turned off the guys will get..make them WANT you..make them chase you..make them step up their game to get you :)
don't make it your goal right now to hunt for a guy..go hang out at places where you would see many guys and just chat with them normally..get to know them and become their friends..take things slow and steady
