Well, NO, Different countries are good at different things. Iran, it turns out, is good at taking hostages. Not much else.

Their motivation is to impress the Iranians and the Arab world that Iran is a reckoning power, and the 5ft 3 inches high Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is the short man that stands tall against the U.S.A.

I think it's a trap for the U.S!! All along I've thought that "what if those Arabs are just gonna keep on causing bad stuff to suck the USA into wars and fights etc. just to financially drain them and send them into third world conditions while they then begin to buy up the land the USA owns and then they take over the country! It sounds nuts I know but it is very feasible and is happening right now as we speak!!

No Iran just wants the USA out of Iraq so they can control Iraq and make it into a Shia country. And they don't like the USA threatening to make war with them.

Great Britian won't attack, it wants to remain in a postion that can be interepted either way. However, if the U.S. makes a move, then Iran will have the basis for war.

Ahmadinejad wants war. He has from the very beginning. You don't say things like "blowing Israel off the map," if you don't want war.
