Why do Atheists and Angostics come on here?

...if they're only purpose is to make fun of Christians? I mean, they talk about how inteligent they are and how haveing no religion makes them "smarter" somehow, If their so smart, why not do something with it? Why come on here just to be mean to everyone who loves the Lord? Fine, don't believe. But don't come here sspreading your hatred either. I don't go around talking about how much I hate milk of magnesia because it BORES people. I know there's a couple of nice ones in the bunch but most of you people (especially Atheists) think your so much better then the rest of us just because you've decided not to have salvation. I'd like to educate you about the Word and how important it is becasue I love everyone and I want all of them to be in Heaven. But the rudeness that most of you guys spew is really messed up. How about a little respect for the other side?

Wow.... people ask this at least 50 times a day and you couldn't take the time to look up the past 5,000,000 answers.

Look... you wouldn't ask why humans are in the "Dog" section or "Cat" section because they aren't dogs or cats. You wouldn't ask why people visit the Food section if they aren't broccoli. You wouldn't require regular users to be celebrities in order to visit the celebrity section... so WHY... in the name of all that is good and rational... would you reason that atheists should stay away from the religion and spirituality section?????

This is the section in which questions and answers pertaining to the subjects of religion and spirituality may be asked and answered. Are you trying to suggest that atheists don't know anything about either of those subjects? Are you saying an atheists view point won't be valid?

And I don't come here just to be rude. I only start using "fighting words" when people say "hey you" and then accuse me of all sorts of things I haven't done... like YOU just did.

This is about the 100th time this question has been asked in the last couple of days. It goes both ways. Everyone has a right to be on this forum. I don't see many mean answers from Atheists. Maybe you need to be more tolerant of people who don't believe in God. The question you asked isn't very respectful of the "other side" either. Take a walk in someone else's shoes before you make judgments like you have. Have you ever thought that maybe Atheists are bored with what you have to say, or that maybe Christians come off like the think they are better than everyone else? Think before you ask questions like the one above.

From what I've seen, the believers are treating the atheists worse than the atheists are treating the believers. The last question I looked at someone called an atheist a moron and told them that they were going to hell.
Nobody is making fun of you. I think you need to grow up a little pal. When you say you love everyone, clearly you aren't talking about atheists whose beliefs are just as valid as yours.

I do not think that I am better than anyone .I am not an atheists or a Christian , I am a pagan . I have no hatred for anyone . I believe in religious tolerance . I wish people could state their views without being condemned , criticized, ridiculed or bashed . Many Christian's are very rude and act high and mighty also . Can't we all learn to live together in peace ?

Look whos talking. Ive been answering questions on this site for awhile now and I like to also read other peoples answers. More often than not, I see where you bible thumpers answer questions, not so much to be answering them as to be selling your god through your testemony which more often than not has nothing to do with the question asked. Also, Ive read some very disrespectfull stuff in referrence to non-christians. And for the record, Im a pagan and a wiccan. Not an atheist and/or agnostic.

Most atheists and agnostics on this site are not here to spread hatred. I'm agnostic, feel free to check out my questions and answers.

As for why do I come here? It's no-money fun, and I get to learn more about what other people think. Once in a while, I'm challenged by the questions I read.

Who else can make you really think about your own religion? People of your same religion would always agree with you. You wouldn't learn any new things or new logic which were brought up by atheists. So before you wish for something be careful what you wish for.

Atheists will try to practice their critical thinking on you for free.

I don't know why other people come on here but I just stumble onto these questions. As an Atheist I do not think I am better than anyone but I think after dealing with a hundred people telling you that you are going to burn in hell, etc after you have politely told them you do not believe in god it kind of turns you off Christians. I find that Christians more than any other faith are judgmental and hypocritical.

Maybe they're just trying to reverse your brainwashed state of mind,perhaps they think the world would be a better place if people didn't base their lives on the advise of their imaginary friend. I mean you can see how it would bother agnostics and atheists that there are actually people out there who base real life decisions on the rules given by an imaginary being, and the dictates of bronze age delusional people,right?
