No.
It does mean that, during break outs of the herpes of the eye, she will need to be careful to avoid transferring it to other body parts. She needs to not touch her eye during those times, and follow her doctor's instructions on medications.

Keratitis (herpes of the eye) can be caused by either HSV1 or HSV2.

It does not mean that she definitely has genital herpes, however, it is possible.

If you are concerned about it, talk to her, and both of you go and see a doctor if you are still not sure.

No she could have gotten the herpes by a sore that someone had on their mouth. If you want to know if she has Genital Herpes you need to ask, if you are uncomfortable, I would keep it in you pants, until you get married or until you no longer care about your physical health. With all of the STD's that are out there it is better to be safe than sorry. Wait until you get married.

Hey, I agree with the others, Genital Herpes is in another class. Like a type 1 and a type 2, I get cold sores, in the corners of my lips, on my lips and even inside my nose!

No, herpes of the eye is caused by the virus that causes cold sores on the lips. It is herpes 1 that she has. Herpes 2 causes genital herpes.
