i want to get side swept bangs my hair is thick and brown and i have a oval face. will it work? what should i tell my hairdresser to do and what are some good examples . thanks

yeah I have a oval face & dark brown hair too .... Make sure she cuts your bangs just under your nose & then I had my hairdresser sort of layer it down ... looks good I love it

I have a round face, my hair is dark and it works on me. I think that it will work for you too. Just tell your stylist how you are going to be styling your hair and if you have pics of a celebrity whose hair you like (e.g. LC on Laguna Beach has side-swept bangs), don't hesitate to bring it with you and show the stylist. In fact, to emphasize the style, you might even want to try some caramel or honey highlights, that would look totally hot too!! :=)

yes,oval faces are the best because almost any hair style will work with it. side swept bangs are cute,i have some:) tell your hair dresser you want side spept bangs and she will know what youre talking about,they are very popular.

That ought to work, but make sure you get the right length. I cut my own bangs, and they looked really bad till they grew out a bit.
If you get your bangs cut to your eyebrows, your eyes will stand out.
If you have thick hair and relatively long bangs, your nose will stand out.
People with oval shaped faces can wear most hair styles.
Talk with your hairdresser about it first, considering hair texture and type.

yes. i have medium thick hair. like between thick and ohm. not thick and i have a oval face. and i have side swept bangs kinda. it looked pretty good on me! so it should look good on you

OMG!! do that oh it will look so darn cuteee. i used to have big thick blonde hair with these bushy bangs in front, but then i just decided to make them side swept and i look beautiful lol, but totaly go for it girl, u will look cuttteee

you're in luck!
they look great on anyone!
just ask your hairdresser to give you some bangs that are about to the tip of your nose in length.
the "side-swept" part comes from you parting you're hair a little off center, and sweeping them to the side.
