we know that just about all sports have someone gay in them.i mean really gay,like coming out of the closet gay.senators,congressmen,judges,and so forth.
we all get on here and bash other drivers we dont like and call them "gay".
now my question is,has there ever been a driver,crewchief,crew member,owner,or whatever in nascar ever come out of the closet and admit to being gay?
i dont know of any.do u?

I don't think that anyone is and everything and the word gay has two meanings I mean you can say the person likes the same sex and be gay and then kids teenagers and etc all say something is gay as its stupid or they dont like it. The only thing I know of is that everyone accusses Jeff Gordon of being gay but thats not true so thats the only one I've really heard.

Some people claim Tim Richmond was gay, or at least bisexual, because he died of HIV/AIDS. However Tim Richmond was known to hook up with lots of women so he may have gotten the disease that way. There was another driver, JT Hayes, who drove some NASCAR races in the 90's who is now living as a woman under the name of Terri O'Connell. I am not sure if you would call her gay now that she has had sexual reassignment surgery but certainly her life is a bit atypical of what one expects out of a NASCAR driver.

To everyone that said JEFF GORDON, Jimmie Johnson, and Michael Waltrip is gay. No i dont think. How in the h*ll is jeff gordon gay his girl is haveing a baby for gods sake. Yall just jealous yall cant get a woman that sexy.LOL. And even if it was someone that is gay that works in the nascar company its none of no ones business. Thats their personal life so why dont you people stay out of it.

Because he's enlargened the fan base for NASCAR?

I just am not a supporter of homosexuality I compare it to marrying your pets(as if you have one and why don't you just marry it?). I don't really think there is anybody who has come out. Anyone who thinks Jeff Gordon is "gay" needs to stop thinking that. His Rainbow Scheme is what he was given at that point in his career and drivers really do not have any control over what paint schemes they are given, they must adapt to it and move on. I really don't think there's anyone who has come out except for Jean Girard in Talladega Nights but that was just a movie.

It has been a rumor for some time that Tim Richmond was gay. Supposedly he died of AIDS. I've never heard that this was confirmed.

no not that i know of the driver some speculate because he had aids was tim richmond who drove the folgers #25 for hendrick motorsports but it was said by those close to him he liked to party and have as many women as he could at the same time so i dont belive he was gay but will probally think someone was or is but with the fear of the wrath of nascar fans will never come out because nascar fans will never support a driver who is a homosexual i know i wouldnt anyway
