I looks like a good recipe. The crackers just make the hamburger go further. Not for taste. Make your patties out and fry in a skillet on your stove top or in an electric skillet. They will not have the smokey flavor from the grill, but will still taste good. In the winter, I always cook my burgers indoors.

The recipe sounds *OK* to me. I know a lot of people add ingredients to their hamburgers (ranch dressing mix, onion soup mix, etc.) but I'm a purist when it comes to hamburgers. Shape into a patty working the meat as little as possible, sprinkle with salt and pepper, and grill.

You can use any crackers you have--Ritz, Club, etc. Or you could use dry bread crumbs.

Frying them would more than likely change the flavor *slightly* but it would work just fine.

Yes you can fry hamburgers but you cook the hamburgers the same as you would on a grill.

Burgers are very good fried. The recipe looks good. You can substitute bread crumbs for the crackers.

I am afraid to use the grill so i usually always use a frying pan to cook my burgers.
If you don't have slatines you can just use any regualr cracker you have, like ritz.

Why not it says on the stovetop. They use saltins instead of bread crumbs - how they stay juicy is anyones guess. You can leave it out - just adds carbs anyways.

You dont need the crackers, it will be fine without it. And yes, you can cook it on a stove top.... just keep the heat low because as the fat cooks off, it will smoke and if you cook too hot, the smoke detectors will go off!!!!

First in order to make the burger you need all the ingredients. I am pretty sure you can fry them - it may taste different, maybe not.
