Although Hanoi Jane was an outspoken war critic of Vietnam, her reputation was tarnished further by the N.Vietnamese when they caught Jane by surprise with some of the propaganda she was accused of supporting. The incident with Jane sitting on an anti-aircraft gun was supposedly not on her agenda.

That single picture did Jane more harm than any thing she had said or done, prior to or after the incident. Jane Fonda was one of Hollywood's earliest actors who used her celebrity to promote her political agenda; a concept that many Americans have grown to despise; yet they keep on doing it. I believe it is finally starting to catch up to these people, and the studios are starting to feel the pinch at the box offices.

This , of coarse, makes the celebrity less marketable, and that's a good thing ! When is the last time you saw Fonda in a starring role ? Jane, not her lovely niece Bridget !

She gave help and relief to the enemy at a time of warfare. someone who does it truly is clearly a traitor. i do no longer understand if it makes it extra valuable or worse that the U.S. Had already pulled out all yet 2 strive against instruments at the same time as she went to N. Vietnam. those instruments were already scheduled to be pulled out in some months. She caused soreness and suffering to our POWs and there became no reason for it because the warfare became once really over for the U.S.

Hanoi Jane was and is a traitor, not to mention a seditious b-itch. She should suffer the same fate as our POWs in Vietnam. When our guys (in an NVA/VC prison camp) handed her a slip of paper with their names on it, she gave it to their captors. They were consequently beaten. Severely. I normally don't touch alcohol, but I'd love to sip beer from her skull. 100% serious. Sell her to the Mujaheddin. I wonder what she would say about them after a 48 hour gang rape.

Yes, she was a traitor and her actions were unconscionable. There were plenty of anti-war demonstrations during the Viet Nam war which were acceptable and necessary. She was way out of bounds, even through liberal eyes. I still can't stand the woman, even though she regrets her actions...too little too late.

As a Vietnam Vet I disapproved of her acts during the war. She should have had her citizenship removed while she was there. Let her figure out where to go from there.

But in actuality what she did is small pickings compared to the wholesale theft and treachery we see today. Halliburton gets no bid contracts while a subsidiary is building bases in Iran. Hundreds of Billions have been stolen and you and I will have to pay the bill. Thousand of Soldiers have been killed or wounded so that these Carpetbaggers can fill thier pockets

A traitor, and stupid to boot.

The thing I find hilarious is that she thought she could get away with it back in the day because she was a hottie and everybody would be too busy ogling her to pay attention to what she had to say

Now she's old and can't fall back on that.

Very chuckalicious.

Yes, traitor. Would have been hilarious to see a bomb from an F-4 blow her to smithereens while she was dancing with the enemy. Too bad CIA didn't have an operative there to do the job.

Yes she is a traitor. How dare she show her ugly mug again.
She jeopardized our boys in Vietnam. She should have been tried for war crime.
