Help i have a 52 inch RCA HDTV that only comes on sometimes. I press the power button and it attempts to try to come on but doesnt. But after a long while , say a couple of hours it comes on. It does this every day.I find myself having to leave it on all the time because i'm afraid to turn it off. What could be the problem? please help?

Go here and type in your model number and see what you get...

Chance are, you have one or more filter capacitors in a high frequency switching power supply that are drying out. You can't fix it. It will probably have to go into the shop.

Arrrrgh! I SUSPECT the SSB or Signal board is at fault....on the newer HD sets that is.....

That board isn't inexpensive.....so plan on a $500 or more repair.....

Solution, i'ts out of your reach, i'm afraid.
Problem seems internal, electronic.
I suggest you send your TV for service.
