1. This scripture reference is incorrect. The act of humility Jesus performed at this time was to take on the role of a servant and wash the feet of His disciples.

2. That if there was any other way for mankind to get to heaven outside of His sacrificial death on the cross, then to allow Him to not have to go through the torture. The answer was no, there is no other way.

3. No. The law forbid a trial at night. There were false witnesses present. According to the law there had to be agreement, and there was not. Jesus was only guilty if what He said was not true.

4. Caiaphas, Pilate and Herod. Pilate left the final verdict up to the people.

5. Caiaphas and Pilate.

6.The Jews found Him guilty of blasphemy. The Romans found no guilt worthy of death, however, the issue was forced to its prophetic conclusion.

7. It was part of Roman protocol to set a large wax seal to maintain non-entry. This seal had the power of Rome behind it. Break it, and you were crucified without trial. A Roman guard detail varied in size from four to sixteen men. When sixteen participated in overnight duty, each quaternion (group of four men) took the watch for about three hours (Acts 12:4), so that four men were awake at all times. The four on guard stood at the object to be secured, while the other twelve slept in a semicircle with their heads pointed inward. They were not amateurs at guarding a location.

3. No, they brought false witnesses to testify against Him.
4. Ananias the High Priest and the Sanhedrin as well as Pilate
5. The high priest and Pilate
6. The high priest found Jesus guilty of blasphemy but Pilate found Him innocent
7. They fixed a seal to the stone and set a guard.

Hope that helps!

Hmmmm........seems that you gave your own answers for alot of these.

1) Jesus placed himself as the lowest member of his group, showing that he was deferrent to them all.
2) That he be spared from the troubles that he saw coming.
3) No, he wasn't. He was already considered guilty by most people involved in charging him, and they would not allow him to be released.......pressuring Pilate to crucify him.
4) He first faced the Sanhedrin, then Pilate, then Herod, then Pilate again.
5) The Sanhedrin
6) No, they did not.
7) Convinced the local government that his body would be stolen, and asked for them to provide guards to prevent it.

Now, what was the point of your question?

This appears to be a homework assignment and you should really find the answers yourself. The answers are in the scripture passages you list, so pray for God to give you understanding as you read the passages again.
