Should i be scared to put my braces on?? what color should i do? clear or white? or a actual color?

they do not hurt when you actually get braces on but later the next day, it will feel really sore. it will feel like this for about a week or so. stick to soft foods that require little to no chewing during these painful times. do not get clear. those get dirty and stain. they make it look like you have disgusting food stuck in your teeth! stay away from those colors. here is a link to colors you can get on your braces.

I just got my braces on like a month ago, and its not as bad as everyone told me it would be, but if you are worried about pain take some tylenol before you go. For the color i got baby blue the first time, i just think that color looks good on teeth. I recommened not getting the colors clear, yellow, or white because they tend to look icky. Don't get multiple colors, unless you are still young stick to one or 2 diffrent colors. Good Luck with the braces! Just think in a couple of years you will have a perfect straight smile

I wanted to ask you exactly what you meant by you putting them on..anyways, they really didn't hurt ,its more of a pressure feel, and the first little while,its a different type of feel, but not pain it just takes awhile to get used to,then it becomes kinda normal, and the pay off, wow it's going to be awsome..you go gurl..
okay this is what's my experience .
The way I have mine is this, my braces are the regular colour (silver),The colour's are added by lil elastic's , I get them changed at each visit, depending on what time of year it is .for example..at xmas ,I chose green,red,blue, all xmas colours they put them on evenly ie..one red, next one green ect ect..
when it came to halloween ,i got orange and black side by side,easter,all pastel colours..ect ect..there's also just clear elastic's .

I't's actually real popular these days this way, I also need the head gear, that suxed ,but I just use them after school around the house and during the night..All my friends are jealous now they all want braces now, just cuz it's so cool.It's much more exceptable these days then yrs ago..o and braces you can dress them up ,even if you get the clear elastic's or siler, as today there's so many ppl likeing face jewlery, like the nose rings, eyebrow rings, munroe stud..ect ect.. so many celerbrities especially that are rap stars the grills are very hip today..so feel god about that, your cool hunAll the best hun.

I got braces in my sophomore year of HS and I was so sad to get them, I had them until after graduation, but I was SO happy after all was done, it wasn't a big deal to get them either, no one ever said anything about them, I made a bigger deal than necessary,lol, BUT let me tell you,lol, I had "clear" ones b/c I wanted them to be discreet,lol, and after a while they weren't all that clear, the started to turn a slight yellow, i guess from eating and all the MT.Dew I drank,lol...but I would say go all out with the color b/c they can always add new bracket colors each visit, my friend always changed hers,LOL :-)

dont be scared. if you have a good orthodontist he will talk to you the whole time! it is actually very fun. i would do it again but too bad for me, i already have a whole mouth. i reccomend white because invisalign is for adults mainly, plus the plastics dont fit until right before you get them changed. when you go to get them put on that you bring tylenol, because when you first get them they hurt a little. be sure to stock up on pudding, macncheese, and other soft/swallowable foods. wish you the best of luck.

no,its not that bad cuz in the end you'll have a winning smile and every month you can change the bands to differant colors thats fun when theres holidays in the months.

well i have braces and they do hurt mine hurt so bad i cried. but when u get em tightened u feel a lot of pressure. but u kinda get used to it. dont be nervous. it hurts but... i just pretend when i am getting my braces tightned that well i say to myself,
"if u hurt me i will shove a hamburger down ur throat."
well becase they r fat and that makes me fell better. i just think of a funny joke i would do to em if they hurt me. it helps alot! try that!

No don't be scared. Maybe get clear because they are harder to see.
