which are the best days to shopping at LA China Town?

I´m planning to go a weekend but some body told me that as at the fashion district, weekends are not good days.

Oh I don't think it matters that much...if you go on the week ends you can wander down across from Union Station and see the friggin Phantom DONKEY that is all the rage these days....LOL

i don't think it matters unless you're talking about crowds and traffic, then sunday is your best bet.
