What would you think, what would you say to her, would you feel guilty? I mean a very promiscuous college age daughter. Would you worry about it? Be as honest as possible.

I'm the whore...I'm asking to see what my dad must me thinking. I never got any kind of talk from either of my parents. They assumed I would never turn out this way I guess cuz I was a perfectionist. Now they avoid talking to me about it at all costs. Guess I had to learn the hard way.

Pregnancy is the LEAST of her worries... AIDS will kill you... Slowly & Painfully. Hepatitus is another potentially deadly one... Not to mention many other STD's... What about the person she's with? A serial killer? Woman beater? You can't tell by looking... Perhaps a stalker after she dumps him? What about respect? How can you respect yourself if you're a whore? Do you honestly think anyone else will? Sex is to be cherished, shared... it should be spiritual... Sex is shallow without love... I can go on and on. I have that right to lecture, I am a parant. A father, a DAD. It's a fathers obligation to say something... If you don't speak up, how are your children to know you care? How can they know you love them? If you don't say anything, it must be okay, right???

Feel guilty? No I would not! I have taught both of them what is right and wrong. They were brought up in church and I was the one that explained birds and bees to them. They know sex before marriage is wrong, so no I wouldnt feel guilty at all, at that age they, and they alone are responsible for their own actions. Would I worry? You bet I would! There are a million reasons to worry, will they choose life if a pregnancy occurs? I hope so! Dont compound premarital sex with abortion. Will they contract a diesease? Yes I would worry without a doubt. Will they survive the assault on their reputation? Will they return to their upbringing?

I guess once word got out, I would be embarrassed and hurt knowing what they were taught verses the ignorant choices they made. Virginity is the only true and pure thing a man or woman has to offer their spouse and once it is gone it cant be taken back.

What would I say? I guess I would look them straight in the eye and say "your mom and I raised you better than that" and try my best to counsel them one more time.

Are you sure that she is promiscuous or are you just overstating things? Some parents think that their daughters are promiscuous simply because they have had more than one partner.

Second, if she really is promiscuous, it could be the sign of an underlying emotional problem. Be sure to get her some counseling.

Third, be sure that she has access to reliable contraception and gets regularly screened for STD's. It will take her awhile to get straightened out; it would be a shame if she ended up pregnant or ill in the interim.

Fourth, make it very clear to her that acting out sexually in front of you or other family members is strictly forbidden.

And whatever you do, DO NOT BE JUDGMENTAL!!!!

Good luck.

Incidentally, I am not the father of a daughter but I thought I would throw in my two cents.

I have a college age daughter and I would sit her down fast and talk to her! She needs to hear, really hear, the dangers of promiscuous sex. These days its more than just gonorrhea, syphilis and other things that can be cured with antibiotics. We're talking diseases that can't be cured like herpes, genital warts (which can lead to cervical cancer) and HIV that can kill you. If you can't do it then find a close female relative to help you out. You as a Dad have to be strong and take charge of this difficult topic to show her you love and care for her. It NOTHING to be embarrassed about!

You can only tell her,and then it is for her to decide, now people have put sex down for there kids and it shouldn't be like that, because she is going do as she feels anyway and that's the way it should be just tell her to have safe sex and that's all a father can really do at that point.

I am not a father of a girl, I am a woman, no kids. But if she hasnt learned to respect herself now, it may be too late for you to have much of an influence.

You can say that you are worried about her and that you love her. Assure her you are there for her no matter what, and prove it too her.

Love her and lover her more.

For one, until my daughter turned 18 , she would not have a cell phone with more than 10 minutes, she would not be allowed to date, no private phone calls in her room, no calls from boys unless i was listening. No internet unless i was watching over her shoulder.I would know where she was and what she was doing. When she went to a friends house she wouldnt go unless the parents were there and I would talk to the parents tomake sure they were their first. If somehow I found out she was being promiscuous, she would be chained in the basement until her 18th birthday and homeschooled.

if I had a daughter and she was promiscuous, I'd tell her.
And I'd want the dad to do it too, but preferably the mom first if it doesn't get through to her the first time.

Parents always love their children no matter what. They may not approve of their lifestyle, but they always love them more than life itself.

I'd create a website and try to make some money off of her. If she's gonna do it she might as well do it on camera where u know she is safe!
