Some dealership "Mini's" are actually $50 per car, so there is no way to determine anything. Like the poster above me stated, every dealership has different commission plans, some of which are performance oriented and a sales associate needs to sell a pre-determined amount of vehicles per month to get a bonus, which will augment each of his/hers individual vehicle sales commissions....I have made from $25 on a split deal to well over $2,000 on a single car. There are no magical percentages or universal commission calculators. I hope this answers your un-answerable question. ;)

Well....just to let you know...
It all depends.
I've seen someone make off from 2007 camry anywhere from 500$ to 2000$.
So it all depends.
It's basically this... you pay for your own work.!
If you take your time and shop around, then you get your time worth, if you do it right.
If you are the type of person who doesn't like to shop around and lazy, then you pay more. Unless you are lucky enough to find a honorable salesmen.
Just to let you know...most of the salesman are untrustworthy.
= )
How do I know this? Because I'm a used car salesman / New Cars broker / Used Car Wholesaler
The most I've made off 07 Camry is $1500.
This is how this gets split.
From $1500, you take out tax. And my kinda case...
I split the profit w/ the company 60/40. Sales 60 dealer 40.
So if you do the math...you'll get the number.
= )

many times conversing, a cost is predicated on the fee of in spite of you sell, many times a proportion of that cost. Getting funds for merchandising something in spite of the fee is reported as a spiff. 3 vehicles according to day is a very extreme estimate. many times if a motor vehicle salesman sells 25 vehicles a month, he's seen astounding.

that totally depends on the dealership...different dealerships offer different compensation plans to their salespeople...some even pay their salespeople salary. there is really no way to know other than asking the salesperson outright what he is making....his response these days will probably be "not enough". Generally speaking the minimum commisson on a vehicle is $150.00. So he should have made at least that
