this is a big debate right now, the segan god of speed, Sonic, or the nintendian god of fire, Mario?

Sonic can:
*run like 20 times faster
*use fire absorbing shields from sonic 3 on
*go 'super sonic' with all of the chaos emeralds
*no projectiles though
Mario can :
*shoot fire
*turn metal
*he has a wieght advantage
*but hes slow and easy to hit

Mario can fly too. He can become invincable, walk through grates and become metal, just by changing hats. Just by wearing a suit he can take on characteristics of animals. What can sonic do?

I wouldn't consider either of them Gods LOL. I would have to say if either of them falls into the cold dark pit they BOTH will lose a life.
