If you want the traditional Miami look go with white or creams.
Lots of wicker and bamboo. Lots of big plants. Keep it airy and light feeling. Don't forget to throw in plenty of green pillows etc to pull in the wall color.

Any thing rich and warm. Maybe try brown? or if you want to go bold, try red, or warm rich dark red. If the space is light and washed out or airy, try to make the furniture the focal point. Go bold and make a statement!
