A friend of mine I've known for over a year now. I'm pretty much positive that he was really into me this year, but I was too slow and now I like him, I think he's kind of let up a bit this year. He keeps saying, you should come paintballing with me this weekend. and has been doing it for a while now, he asked me again recently and I said no again, it's something I've never done before (the sport). is the fact that he asked me again a hint that he still likes me or just friends? how should I say I'd like to go? witty comment, sarcasm welcome :P any help appreciate thanks :)

tell him that you need him to go with you some pleace and take him, or get you a paintball gun, and shoot him in the leg with it and tall him you're game. it will catch him off guard but you'll both be more ecited to go and do the damn thing. then if it works and you need you money back from purchassing the paintball gun keep your reciet if you think renting one is more practical and less expensive. ha ha ha

You should say "I really want to spend time with you, but paint ball is not my thing. What if we (insert more preferable activity here) together instead?". Honesty is the easiest route.

Maybe he still has feelings for you and is trying to get you to realize that.
